BOS Essay #1 -- Hatered

A new series again. Because-of-Sianess; totally random stuff thats unrelated to anything at all, for my own recreational purposes during this period.

-----------

Roots from dislike or distaste. Dislike, mainly because of ways and qualities that you deem the object in question possessing as errors. Distaste, basically because you label the object as unlikable just because your favour says so.

Since neutrality is a stance most like to don nowadays, hatered has been thought of to be more of an emotion rather than reaction. But hatered works in more of a reaction-nal way, although it has similarity with emotion as it is triggered off by a circumstance. However, both emotions and reactions are largely momentary, while hatered can drag out this essence (time) for a rather long period. Grudges work in such a way whereby one, a constant concept that applies to a stiuation is being excercised consistently every time one meets the object of hatered; two, the object of hatered commits a flaw that is determined by one as beyond acceptance, and one performs hatered in order to justify his emotion/reaction. In such a sense, hatered can be defined as both, only, its not a emotion as it can be willed. Unlike, happiness, sadness and the like which depend solely upon the situation for the emotion to be triggered, hatered can be produced by the oneself and is independent on the situations. Although some may argue those preceeding emotions can also be 'choosen', this action leans more towards a delusion rather than a decesion. Hatered, is very different. The factors it relys on is not soley circumstance. It betrays both its classification as a reaction and an emotion by working beyond time limits (yes, there are the exceptions of everlasting happiness/sadness etc. But hatered is different because it is felt and affirmed rather than just experienced) Lets explore a few factors hatered clings onto...

The D i S l i k e
- Irritations
Errors, flaws, things that irk you and make you feel fed up. There are the generalised actions that everyone is expected to hate like not having manners; the particular actions that there is an unspoken law for people not to carry out like being very arrogant and the actions that are unique only to some like not making eye contact. It may be as simple as a way of doing things that you are not comfortable with.

- Processes and Conclusions
One guy screws up a project by eating up all the ingredients as dinner while all were planning how to cook the big pineapple with what was bought. They find out and all hate him. The conclusion is the signpost where one will induce a current, to burst that fuse. Because its an official indicator of how much the guy sucks, one can assume there is reason to hate.

- Differences
Ah, self explanatory. I could fill up this with crap, but just go figure. Think up the defination. Think up a case study. Think up a person. Think up the situations. So, how do you feel about it?

The D i S t a s t e
- Differences
This time, in terms of the uncontrollable circumstance. The most common example is the place of belonging. There have been discrimation because of race, gender, religion etc. And all these, (some which can be deemed as not the guy's fault) give ample reason for humans to want to hate.

- Ugliness
Not only physical, although the factor may not be wrong when taken literally... but also ugliness that you deem so upon the standard you have. The poor might be a bunch of ugly people for the rich. Those who are from elite schools may be ugly to those from neighbourhood ones. Even the handsome can be ugly for those who are... ugly. Well.

- Gut
"I just cannot stand him" scenarios. Well, maybe we could try rooting out those who we can't seem to determine reason for (and thus classify under this), and try to slowly sieve out our reasons.

There can be plenty of morals of the story. Like going out there and then stop hating everybody, the world and to hug each other and live in harmony. Like looking at your own mistakes first and considering how to improve yourself...
Like stopping to think of whether there was reason to find reason to hate.

Things to do...

After the O levels, (ahem) The set of blogs in the zoneseekasphere will be revamped slightly, and I'll rid the personal touch to them. (As in, I only talk about the concepts, but will never do personal references to myself nor do rants on it anymore)
The new headquaters will be www.zoneseekers.blogspot.com , with links to...

Zoneseeking
The main place of unclassified stuff that can't really be defined, but that is understood when one finally reads it (if anybody actually cares to anyway) Nothing much to say here, except, the blog will continue to serve its use, and I'll blog the usual topics there.

Arena of Omni-Perceptions
Maybe it'll get a less cheesy name. The place where I write when using a different perspective, perhaps it'll be less controversial as I'll give resolutions to the articles if it intrudes too much into a forbidden twlight or go against my principles. Also, the current entries there are really not what I had originally intended the place to be like... perhaps, entries will have attatchments of the perspective's profile.

Zone of Refraction
It'll turn into a page whereby I'll discuss Christianity, the apologetics, the bible verse reflections, bible study summaries etc.

Epicycle
You know those philosopical travel-log like things, where concepts and ideas are explored by a step by step reasoning through logic? Yeah, I wanna try.

..Untitled
Thats not the name. Its really not titled yet. A place where I shall do practical and structured stuff. The kind of academcis that is suitable to hand up to a teacher. And I shall allow comments.

Losenlol
..............................

And other blogs, team ones that hopefully won't turn staganant.

Other addtions

Comments
I disabled comments because I visualised that idiots will come to point out loopholes or flaws or arguements-from-another-angle to counter my articles... (most of the time, stuff that is obvious to everybody who takes time to think about it) And I don't think I want to reply to every single "I think so. But I disagree with that view, one cannot assume that..." crap. (Well, that is to say, if anyone actually cares to read the whole essay) Still, I'm kinda interested to find out what people think of what I'm rambling about. (save for the 'lols' I'll have from friends I know) People come and go at my blog and to quote my friend theres totally no way for them to say "I was here!". Well....

Tagboard
This strange thing ar.... I sorta feel its just for novelty. But it seems appealing in the fact that people can quote their opinions in those few lines that a tagboard allows. Although, everytime I see a tagboard, 1/2 of what I see is spam, 1/4 is encouraging words and the other 1/4 is random crap. And then, we have the stagnant tagboards.... thats doomed to have those last words in them since nobody can find anything to say.

Oh wells. Crapped post....

Spirtuality and etc.

The type of spirituality which I refer to is actually the one which is concerned with happiness and inner meaning -- a concept driven on by many of life's ''see-things-in-another-perspective'' people, who host their antidotes upon what man has cooked up for himself. In this cliched case: Suffering. Mostly, its suffering that roots from greed, and this greed manifests in the various expressions and behaviours which man can deliever. The most common example would be the man who has everything and sets a goal to make a first million at 30. He does it, and then goes on to make the second million. The third, the fourth... so on, until the story hits the climax of him realising that there is no point. Perhaps the moral of the irony of being slave to the wealth is presented in the tale as well. In any case, such situations -which are percieved by them as a resultant due to greed- gives spirituality a chance to remedy it through a formula of desire elimination. A simple concept, expounded on into a cure for the 'meaninglessness'.

What this concept also consists of, is destorying your sense of fuliment. The arguement is derived from the 'needs are simpler, wants are complex' theory, and affirms upon the stance that our desire for things, our labelization of value for objects -- all these cause the pain. This is also seen in terms of spirituality, whereby a 'desire' exists in whichever medium we go seek spiritual tidbits. Notice, the concept expects that spirtuality is a form of fuilment-- in the sense that it requests an elimination of the infused expectation of something when we go to recieve that spiritual tidbit. Greed, exists in that area, and in order for true happiness of be rationalised, one must destroy all traces of it.

Such a 'spirtuality', is very different from a 'religion'. Although both concepts are similar in the way that they concern the human style of life, what 'spirituality' affects is the philosophy of one brought forth by his assumptions of how a better existance can be fufilled. A 'religion' differs from this as it instills a philosophy in accordance to the truths of its framework into one's perspective, and whether or not a better existence is to be achieved remains as just another factor in the surrounding molecules, getting ready to be bombared by the installation of that faith. Getting 'fufilment' in religion and achieving 'fufilment' in spirituality are very different things. Religion means following and believing. Spirituality consists only acceptance and practising.

Why is meaning and purpose also common elements that show themeselves frequently in 'spirituality' then? Unless, there is a different form of spirituality - as in to say, similar defination(qualities cum requirements) but different idealogy- that tells one what to expect and what to do, and therefore go forth to achieve the desirable end, sprituality does not really cover that. Answers are not given in spirituality, only solutions are given. The same stament can apply for religion, as much as I can say a solution is provided in religion, but some answers are not there. Although of course, the spiritual perspective seems to eliminate that desire for the answers. Both spirituality and religion, could be said to be involved together, in terms of intersections or subsets. But at the rate by which society is equating religion and religious experiences to bear the same fruits in terms of spirituality... perhaps, it should be looked at by another perspective.

Its interesting to note though, 'spiritual' originated from latin - spiritus, meaing of wind or of breath.

"Your words are strong, but your spirit is weak."
"... their only tools. A tool has no power without the spirit."
"And your spirit is weak."

Untitled

Life is hard and then you die.

And such remains as a fact, a myth and an assurance; all at the same time. I can take comfort in that, but somehow -and I believe this applies also to the other half of the world as well- a drive of momentariness grips onto me. The intial finds itself a very powerful candidate to distract and destroy. Basically because it is so very obvious, and so very important in the time and space of now. Well, not only the moments of course. Humans are kinda smart too. They plan.
Living requires such. The instinct demands the action.

Man wasn't given knowledge. He was given curiousity.
Man wasn't given freedom. He was given choice.
Man wasn't given.

He was.
